Charles Brooks Tarr, age 72, of LaGrange, passed away on Oct. 4, 2018,at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. He was born on Aug. 14, 1946, to the late Kent Tarr and Vera Brooks Tarr in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Mr. Tarr proudly served his country in the United States Army. 

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Bonner Tarr; son, Jon Tarr of Auburn; daughter, Leigh Tarr Webb (Steven) of Pine Mountain; brothers, Robert Tarr (Peggy) and Mike Tarr, all of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Matt Tarr, Tiffany Tarr Tidwell (Ryan), Brittany Tarr, Ryan Webb and Noah Webb; great grandchildren, Trent, Mason and Kamp Tidwell and Jeromy Stewart; mother in law, Virginia Bonner of LaGrange; aunt and uncle, Edith and Bob Lewis of Oklahoma; extended family and a host of friends. 

Services for Mr. Tarr will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Hovey officiating.  Family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home from noon until service hour. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 1568 S.
