Mr. Elkin Strozier, Jr., of Newark, New York passed away at his home on Tuesday.

He was born on the 4th of July in 1934 in Odessadale, Georgia, to the late Elkin Strozier Sr. and Ruby Strozier.

Mr. Strozier was married to the late Anna C. Strozier.

Elkin served in the U.S. Army and was an active member in the church at Mt. Zion Baptist and the House of Praise.

Survivors include, Elkin Strozier III (Ae Cha), Mitchell Strozier (Juanita), Clyde Strozier (Sandra), Michael Strozier, Lamar Strozier (Delores) and Cynthia Strozier, Terrell Davis; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, family members, friends and loved ones who will love and remember him always.

The Service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Smynra Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mr. Strozier is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
