Robert Mahone, age 79 was born on June 26, 1939, to the late Lindsey and Lula McGhee Mahone.

A native of Pine Mountain, Georgia, he was a member of St. John CME Church.  Robert held employment in several capacities with the most recent employment and retirement from Guardian Automotive-Lagrange Moulding.  Robert was always known to have a pleasant smile and a kind heart.  On Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, Robert entered peacefully into the arms of our Heavenly Father at WellStar West Georgia Hospice.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Arlene Davis Mahone; a son, Carl Grier: step-daughters, Cynthia Davis, Patricia D. Ware and Jeanette Davis: a sister, Josephine Mahone: brother, Douglas (Janella) Mahone:, sister-in-law, Mrs. Leola D. Broughton; a devoted grandson, Antonio (Jennifer) Grier; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; several other relatives; and special friends, Ernestine Pruitt, Jim (Ann) Saxton and Willie Woods. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Dianne Grier and Doris Spradling. 

Funeral services for Robert Mahone will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at 1 p.m. at St. John CME Church in Pine Mountain. The Rev.
