Marianne Whitaker Moeller, age 76, of Fortson, Georgia, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at her residence.  A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. A visitation and rosary service will be held Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby. 

Mrs. Moeller was born Jan. 27, 1942, in LaGrange, Georgia, the daughter of James Abraham Whitaker and Irene Whitley Whitaker. Mrs. Moeller graduated from Troup County High School.  She had retired from Jordan Woolfolk Insurance Company.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach and mountains and she loved Braves baseball. Recently, she became an Atlanta Falcons fan in support of her daughter’s connection with the team. Mrs. Moeller was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church for 43 years. 

Mrs. Moeller is survived by her husband of 43 years, William T. Moeller; a daughter, Jessica Wendy Dietrich and her spouse, Kelly Broyles; a son, Ray Moeller and his wife Marlene Moeller; a granddaughter, Melanie Moeller.  Other than her parents, Mrs. Moeller is proceeded in death by a sister, Vivian Pruitt, and a son, John Moeller.
