The public is invited to join the City of LaGrange for its monthly litter clean-up event Saturday, Dec. 1, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The group will meet in the LaGrange Academy parking lot, 1501 Vernon Road and clean the area along Vernon Street/West Point Road and Vernon Road.
In addition to city employees, LaGrange Youth Council members, and the community the Kiwanis Club of LaGrange plans to join the city in this clean-up event.
The City of LaGrange held its last litter pick-up event Nov. 3, and uncovered an illegal dumping site in a ravine along E. Bacon Street, just behind Shadowlawn cemetery.
Dozens of people from the community, Youth Council and City of LaGrange participate in the monthly litter pick-up events.
