Synovus donates to support Hillside Festival
DASH for LaGrange, Inc. received a $1,000 donation from Synovus in support of the 2019 Hillside Arts, Music & Food Festival, according to a press release.
The spring festival, held April 27, 2019, in LaGrange’s historic Hillside Neighborhood, will allow DASH to continue to mobilize the strengths of the local area and encourage a greater sense of community. Frank McRae, Market Executive for Synovus, said they have an excellent leadership team that displays a continuous level of commitment to provide affordable housing opportunities in the community.
Elia Baltes, Community Development Director, said DASH is grateful for community partners like Synovus who are crucial to working together to strengthen the well-being of people in our communities. The DASH mission is to be a catalyst for community revitalization that transforms the lives of families and individuals by providing opportunities that focus on dependable, affordable, sustainable housing and active community leadership.
The Hillside Festival, now in its fifth year, continues to be led by residents of the community that are passionate about locally created art, food and music. Last year’s event featured live music acts, over 25 vendors and area restaurants.
