The Thursday Lunch Club met at noon on Dec. 6, in the fellowship hall of the LaGrange First United Methodist Church. 

There were 131 guests and 32 performers. The tables were decorated for the season with wisemen, angels and nutcracker soldiers by the Lydia Circle of the LaGrange First UMC. 

Joyce Morgan Young introduced the Sons of Lafayette. The group was formed in 2001 and is comprised of volunteer singers from LaGrange and surrounding cities and counties. In addition to performing in the local communities, the Sons of Lafayette has performed at Biltmore Estate and Cornwall England.  Directed by Darian Krimm and accompanied on the piano by Eve McKibben the group performed holiday music and also hosted a sing along. The next meeting of TLC will be Thursday Jan. 31, 2019.
