In Tuesday’s edition of The LaGrange Daily News, we wrote about eight LaGrange Academy student’s getting their art displayed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  Student’s Trent Cagle, Michael Hulsey, Jackson Hill, Harold Hill, Kayla McBride and Bo Beall will have pieces featured in the youth art gallery exhibit in the spring next year.

Tiffany Ammerman, LaGrange Academy art and STEAM teacher, said she spoke to another teacher who acts as an airport liason to get the student’s art in the display.

It’s great to see LaGrange students making an impact in the art world. This display is near the international terminal, so those coming and going from foreign countries will get to see what LaGrange has to offer.

The students worked hard on these pieces, and getting them displayed shows that hard work pays off. McBride and Beall’s pieces were from their STEAM class, where they were learning about mathematical art.

The student’s art will be up for six months. Families interested in seeing the exhibit should pre-plan a visit with airport security.

Congratulations to the LaGrange Academy students, we hope to see more work from them in the coming years.
