The Grangers led 38-19 at the half, and they continued to pull away in the final two quarters.

It was a balanced scoring effort for the Grangers, with five players reaching double figures in points.

Leading the way was Jalen Parker with 13 points, and Early Sanders added 12 points.

The Grangers (4-5) were coming off back-to-back three-point losses to Whitewater and South Paulding.

“We did what we were supposed to do,” LaGrange head coach Mark Veal said. “There’s still some things we need to improve on before we start region play.”

Both teams will be back at Woodward Academy today.

LaGrange’s boys’ team will play Lovett at 11:30 p.m., and the girls’ team will face Elite Scholars Academy at 1 p.m.
