Patricia Winkles Hammett Stephenson, age 71, of LaGrange, passed away on Jan. 5, 2019, at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center. She was born on May 31, 1947, to the late James Loomis Winkles and Madell Terrell Winkles in Hogansville, Georgia. She worked as a clerk of the court for the City of Hogansville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Jerry Hammett Sr.

Survivors include her husband, David Stephenson; son, Jerry Hammett Jr. (Brittney Berling); daughter, Amanda Maddox (Chris); step daughter, April Meabrod (David); brothers, Michael Winkles (Stephanie); sister, Wanda Fordham (Johnny); grandchildren, Corey, Haylee, Jackson, Bradley, Devin, Justin, Jordan; great grandchildren, Noah, Sophie, Zander, Mackenzie; nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Family will have a memorial service at 4 p.m. at the Creekside Baptist Church on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, with Pastor Bryan Geter and Pastor Danny Geter officiating.
