Mrs. Julene Eveline”Johnnie” Green

Mrs. Julene Eveline”Johnnie” Green, of LaGrange, passed away early Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019.
Mrs. Green was born Feb. 11, 1928, at Tybee Island, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Jacob Johnson Sr. and Roxie Creel Johnson. She had lived in LaGrange since 1947. She was a member of South Highland Presbyterian Church. She was a long time volunteer at West Georgia Medical Center. She was a member of the Troup County Senior Center and a former member of the Red Hat Society.
Mrs. Green is survived by four sons and daughter-in-laws, Herbert M. “Mickey” Green (Nancy) of Pine Mountain, Georgia; David (Janice) Green of Walland, Tennessee; “Randy” (Andrea) Green of Madbury, New Hampshire; and Mark (Donna) Green of LaGrange, Georgia; grandchildren, Rachel(James) Winkles, Michael Green, Chris Green, Jason Green Jeffrey (Britt) Green, Amanda (Jeremy) Tackett, Jeremy Green, Ashlan(Lanny) Ludden, Chris (Lindsay) Arnett, DeWayne(Samantha) Arnett, Cassandra Sweatt and Christopher Doore.
She had 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Also her sister Oneida Jackson of Meridian, Mississippi. She had several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister and her beloved husband, Herbert W. Green.
Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral will be Jan. 15, 2019, at 2 p.m., at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with the Reverend Derrick Hubbard officiating. The family will be at the home of Mark and Donna Green at 68 Scott Road, in LaGrange.
