Intermittent lane closures on Georgia 190 Friday and Saturday for film crew

A film crew working on Georgia 190/Pine Mountain Highway in Harris County this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 25 and 26, will intermittently close down the nearly 3.5 mile section between the Georgia 354 intersection and Hines Gap Road intersection, according to a Georgia Department of Transportation press release.
The intermittent closures mean both lanes of the roadway will be restricted for only 5 minutes at a time, and the closures will only take place from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. each morning. Local law enforcement will be on site to control the closures.
Motorists who encounter the film crew’s work zone should be alert to the law enforcement officials’ actions, slow their speeds and drive with care, watching for any changes in situation.
Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones. For travel information, call 511 or visit 511ga.org.
