Mr. Oscar Merideth

Oscar Merideth passed away Monday.

He was the son of the late Alger and Sallie Woodyard Merideth and was born March 27, 1925, in LaGrange, Georgia.

He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Newnan Construction Company.

Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis (James) Magby and Florence (Herman) Lakes; son, Melvin Stenson; two grandson; one great granddaughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Troup.

The family will be at their home at 936 Motley Street.

The excellent care of Mr. Merideth is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
