LaGrange Mall to support multiple organizations at Color for a Cause

The LaGrange Mall announced Wednesday the organizations participating in Color for a Cause, a live mural coloring contest and shopping event that raises funds and awareness for local causes.

During the event, each organization is provided a 6-foot mural and coloring supplies.Each organization has two hours to color their mural and shop on behalf of a cause. Patrons can shop anywhere in the mall and show their receipt in center court to earn a point for a participating cause. The mall donates $1 for each point earned and a $250 prize donation is awarded to the organization with the most points and the winning mural design as determined by local guest judges. 

The event will be held at the LaGrange Mall on Tuesday, March 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in support of: Calumet Center for Healing and Attachment, Circles of Troup County, Department of Family and Children Services, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 31, Feeding The Valley Food Bank, First Choice Women’s Center, Harmony House Domestic Violence Shelter, Hillside Montessori, Krewe of Mask in support of New Ventures, LaGrange Memorial Library, LaGrange MS Group, LaGrange Police Department, Louise United Methodist Church, March of Dimes, Paws 4 Chainge, Theta Xi Omega Chapter, Troup County CLCP, Troup County Humane Society, Troup County Literacy Warriors and Troup County Prevention Coalition.

“We want to invite everyone to come out to help color, shop on behalf of a cause and learn more about local organizations that are doing great work right here in LaGrange. Stores in the mall have come together to put together specials in support of this fun night out to encourage the community to shop on behalf of these important causes. We are looking forward to having so many organizations represented during this community event at the Mall,” said Coles Doyle, marketing director for Hull Property Group, owners of the mall.
