Mrs. Mary Gilliam Rogers

Mary Gilliam Rogers passed away Wednesday.
She was born January 6, 1925 in Troup County, Georgia to the late, Willie Washington and Catherine Davidson, the third of twelve children.
She retired from West Point Pepperell and was a faithful member of New Harmony CME Church.
She is survived by five children: Mae Wilder, Larry (Jackie) Gilliam, Constance Gilliam, Kim Gilliam, and Billy Gilliam; one sister, Mattie Stephens; daughter-in-law, Mary Gilliam; special daughter, Katherine Sheppard; special son, William (Josie) Rogers, Jr.; her “flowers” thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The Service will be Monday at 11:00 at New Harmony CME Church.
The family will be at their home at 1700 Park Place, Apartment 105.
The excellent care of Mrs. Rogers is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
