John Lee Moore passed away Saturday.

He was born April 16, 1949, in West Point, Troup County, Georgia to Mrs. Louise H. Walker, and the late, John Moore, Sr. He joined with Mountain Springs Baptist Church, was educated in Harris County, and retired from Universal Forest Products.

Survivors include his wife, Nellyne Johnson Moore; mother, Mrs. Louise H. Walker; sister, Lottie (Rev. Henry Mack) Hudson; brothers: Jimmy Lee Moore, Alvin Moore, Daron Walker, all of Hamilton; David (Vivian) Walker, Pine Mountain; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law:  Carrie Mae (Anthony) Pless, Roopville,; Paul Woods, Franklin; Mattie Burton, Mary (Tommy) Towns, Rosie Lee Holloway, and Elizabeth Bates, all of LaGrange; Carolyn Reeves, Felix Render, Miami, Florida; special aunt, Mary Grigg, Whitesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Warren Temple UM Church. The excellent care of Mr. Moore is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
