Mr. Andrew Herndon of 903 Buchanan Street born July 15, 1938, to the late Rowena Lumpkin, died March 5, 2019, at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center. 

Mr. Herndon, a native of Mountville attended the Public Schools. He held employment with Milliken and Company and CJ Pallet Recycling Center.  He leaves to cherish  Fond Memories Untrell Jones (Tomonica) of Newnan, Tontalay Jones (Victor), Sharon Smith (Jimmy), Simuel McLaughlin (Shelia), and Octavia Manley all of LaGrange and Meon Walker (Mike) of Pine Mountain and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Herndon was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel Mae Herndon and then Mrs. Pauline McLaughlin.  Graveside services for Andrew Herndon will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Southview Cemetery.  The Rev. Alford Booker will officiate.  Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at West Georgia Mortuary.  The family will receive friends at 903 Buchanan Street.  West Georgia Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
