It is with great sadness that the family of Benji Prescott announces his passing on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Hospice of LaGrange at the age of 58. Benji will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

A native of LaGrange, Georgia. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being surrounded by nature. He enjoyed football, especially watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons. He was also a fan of Nascar and drag racing.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Ann Prescott; and children, Brittany (Michael) Edrew of Hamilton, Ben (Haley) Prescott of LaGrange and Alyssa Prescott of LaGrange. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren, Gabe Edrew and Pierce Prescott; sister, Vicki (Mike) Williams of LaGrange; and brother, Chris (Vickie) Prescott of Franklin, Georgia; special friend, Jackie Belcher of LaGrange and several neices and nephews. 

Benji was predeceased by his father, Benny Prescott, Sr. and grandparents Grady and Letha Prescott and Ruby Marchman.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at 4 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church, 1032 Youngs Mill Rd., LaGrange, GA with the Rev. Anthony Hovey officiating. A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. He will be missed by his blue-nosed pitbull, Roxie.
