The county’s track-and-field stars will take center stage today.

The Granger Invitational will be held at the Whitesville Road track, with boys and girls from Callaway, LaGrange High, Troup, and LaGrange Academy participating.

The action gets underway with the 300-meter hurdles at 4 p.m., and they’ll go non-stop until the final event, the 1,600-meter relay.

Here is a schedule of events:

4 p.m. – 300-meter hurdles

4:15 p.m. – Girls’ high jump, shot put, pole vault, long jump, Boys’ Discus, triple jump

4:30 p.m. – Girls’ discus, triple jump; Boys’ shot put, pole vault, long jump

4:45 p.m. – Boys’ high jump, boys and girls 3,200-meter run

5:30 p.m. – Rolling schedule of running events: 400-meter relay, 800-meter run, 100-meter hurdles, 110-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 400-meter run, 200-meter dash, 1,600-meter run, 1,600-meter relay
