Callaway High’s tennis teams know they’re headed to state.

Whether or not they’ll be at home for the opening round of the state tournament will be determined today.

Callaway’s boys’ and girls’ teams will compete in the Region 5-AA tournament today at Heard County.

All of the particapants in the region tournament will advance to state, and  the  top two finishers in the region tournament will host a state match.

Callaway’s boys’ team is seeded second, and it will play third-seeded Heard County today at 10 a.m.

In the other semifinal match, top-seeded Bremen will face fourth-seeded Lamar County.

The semifinal winners will play for the championship later today, while the semifinal losers will meet in the third-place match.

Callaway’s girls’ team is the number three seed, and it will play second-seeded Temple as soon as the first-round boys’ matches are completed.

Top-seeded Bremen will play fourth-seeded Heard County in the other girls’ semifinal match.

The semifinal winners will meet later today for the region championship, and the semifinal losers will meet in the third-place match.
