It’s championship week.

For the third consecutive season, the USA South Spring Festival will be held in LaGrange.

Championships in the USA South will be determined in seven different sports, with each of the winners earning an automatic invitation to the NCAA Division III national tournament.

Conference champions will be crowned in baseball, softball, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse and men’s golf.

LaGrange College will have teams in the men’s tennis, women’s tennis, baseball, and golf tournaments.

LaGrange College’s softball team lost to Huntingdon in the opening round of the conference tournament on Saturday.

BASEBALL

WHEN: Thursday through Sunday

WHERE: LaGrange College’s Cleveland Field in Williamson Stadium, and Point University’s West Point Park

FORMAT: Eight-team, double-elimination tournament

SOFTBALL

WHEN: Friday through Sunday

WHERE: Shuford Fields

FORMAT: Six-team, double-elimination tournament

TENNIS

WHEN: Friday through Sunday

WHERE: LaGrange College and McCluskey Tennis Center

FORMAT: Six-team, single-elimination tournament. Top two seeds on men’s and women’s side have byes into semifinals

MEN’S LACROSSE

WHEN: Saturday through Sunday

WHERE: Callaway Stadium

FORMAT: Four-team, single-elimination tournament

WOMEN’S LACROSSE

WHEN: Saturday through Sunday

WHERE: Callaway Stadium

MEN’S GOLF

WHEN: Thursday through Saturday

WHERE: Highland Country Club

FORMAT: Nine-team, 54-hole, stroke-play tournament
