James Clay Bailey, Jr., MSGT, USAF, (Ret.) of LaGrange, passed away on April 24, 2019 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. He was born on September 25, 1933 to the late James Clay Bailey, Sr. and Willie Beth Robertson Bailey in LaGrange, GA. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 21 years of service. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Donald Eugene Bailey; sister, Carol Bailey Fuller (Jimmy).

Survivors include his son, James C. Bailey, III; daughters, Sheryl Dianne Speeg, Sandra Bailey Hill; brothers, Bob Bailey, Charles Bailey (Pat); sisters, Beth Shular, Patricia Bailey Evans Walker; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens with full military honors presented. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Mr. James Bailey, Jr. to WellStar West Georgia Hospice.
