Mrs. Tommie Ellen Ergle

Tommie Ellen Ergle, 103, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. She was born on September 12, 1915 in Duluth, Georgia to the late Bessie and Thomas Davenport. She was a homemaker for many years. Tommie was a member of Long Cane Baptist Church in LaGrange, GA and very active in the WMU and a GA leader. Tommie was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, James Carl Ergle; her son, Jimmy Ergle; her grandson, Dennis McElroy; and a great-granddaughter, Nicki McElroy. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Fuller Biles (Jim) and Barbara McElroy (Perry); her grandchildren, Tracy Abel (Gary), Stacy Byne (Chad), Keith Cook (Cris), Buster Cook (Ali), David McElroy (Jeanette), and Debbie Anderson (Roger); her great-grandchildren, Bradley, Ansia, Taylor, Ashley, Josh, Merrie, Adam, Brandi, Chase, Amber, Shane, Brittany, Jessica, Kelvin, Joshua, Michelle, J.T., Shannon, Brandy, Meredith, Jessie, Katrina and Samantha; and her great-great-grandchildren, Charley, Rye, Sawyer, Kacie, Finley, Owen, Eli, Ethan, Elaina, Haley, Michael, Princeton, Harper, Hazel, Haley, Scarlett, Tissa, Briar, Isaac, Bryce, Aaliyah and Asher, along with a number of nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, GA, with Rev. Dan Wooten officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, GA. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Carl J.
