Construction continues on the new Hills & Dales Farm Road and motorists can expect lane realignment near Country Club Road and Hills & Dales Farm Road beginning Monday, May 13.

Crews will begin constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Hills & Dales Farm Road and Country Club Road near Country Club Drive. Construction on the roundabout will last roughly three weeks depending on weather.

“We have started at the Vernon Road side, and we are paving to Country Club Road end,” Director of Public Works Dion Senn said in a video posted by the city. “In the next couple weeks and months to come, you are going to see this intersection here [at the intersection of Hills & Dales Farm Road and Country Club Road] turn into a roundabout.”

Hills & Dales Farm Road extends from Country Club Road near Country Club Drive to Vernon Road by the Vernon Woods Retirement community.

Crews recently began removing the berm at the intersection of Country Club Road and Hills & Dales Farm Road where the roundabout will be constructed.

Crews also began paving the roadway at Vernon Road which extends two miles to Country Club Road. Curbs and sidewalks are constructed along this new roadway.

Hills & Dales Farm Road is expected to open to traffic by late summer/early fall depending on weather.
