Funeral Service for Mrs. Hazel Wynell Duck Stephens, 91, of Alexander City, Alabama, and formerly of LaGrange, Georgia, will be Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home.  Rev. Tim Harris will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange at 1:30 pm CST.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stephens passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Russell Medical.  She was born on July 8, 1927 in Addison, Alabama to Roby Duck and Fathey Marable Duck.  She was a devout Christian lady and was a member of Comer Memorial Baptist Church.  Mrs. Stephens was a licensed hairdresser/cosmetologist and she loved tending to flowers and crocheting. 

She is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, retired LaGrange Police Captain, William “Bill” H. Stephens of Alexander City; cousins, Nita Marable and Karen Marable, both of Alexander City

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret Duck.
