Mr. Ben Frank Willingham

Mr. Ben Frank Willingham, 87, of LaGrange, Georgia, was ushered to his eternal home, with family by his side on Sunday, June 2, 2019, from his residence.

Mr. Willingham was born Nov. 1, 1931 in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Elder T. Willingham and Velma Brown Willingham. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church and owned and operated Bull Street Barber Shop, also known as Ben’s Barber Shop for 31 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nell H. Willingham; son, Ben Willingham Jr.; and several siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Yates Willingham; children, Chris Willingham and Linda Willingham; grandchildren, Hank King, Gina King, Christy Willingham, Megan Willingham, and Sarah Willingham; siblings, Buddy Norred, Bryant Willingham, LaVerne White, and Mary Lane; several other relatives and friends.

The gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2109, in Shadowlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Benji Dukes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concord Baptist Church in memory of Ben Frank Willingham, Sr.
