Frankie Lee Cole Blankenship, 84, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Valley Park Manor in Valley Alabama. Frankie was born January 27, 1935, in Grantville Georgia to the late George Cole and Marie Wilson Cole Jeter. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harold Loyd Blakenship, and step-father, Maynard Jeter.

Frankie attended LaGrange College as an art major and taught third grade for one year before joining Woodbury Business Forms art department where she worked for over 30 years. She was a member of Broad Street Church of Christ.

Frankie is survived by her daughter, Cindy (George) Giles; grandchildren, Jesse Byrd, and Laura Byrd; Sister, Nancy (Larry) Pike, and nine nieces and nephews and their families.

A time of celebration of life will be held Friday morning from 10 a.m. until Noon from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home. After the memorial time entombment will follow in Shadowlawn Mausoleum.
