Non-profit bakery opens coffee truck in LaGrange

Published 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2019

Harvest Coffee and Bakery will open its coffee truck on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 114 Greenville St. from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The non-profit coffee enterprise will sell fair trade coffee from around the world, as well as artisan donuts and pastries.

What separates this business from other local businesses is its social cause. While a small portion of its proceeds will be used to cover operating expenses, the rest will support local and international missions.

The coffee truck will be staffed by volunteers from all over LaGrange as well as paid professionals. In the first few weeks of opening, the truck will have limited hours and will be parked in the same location during its operating hours. Cars will enter the Cleveland Motors lot (below The Army Store) from Vernon Street, place their order without leaving their vehicle, and exit onto Broad Street.

At the grand opening, the truck will feature a limited menu including coffee and donuts and will later add more items.

In addition to selling from the truck, the coffee enterprise fulfills and delivers online orders.
