July 4 closures common around county

Troup County residents can expect multiple closures on the Fourth of July holiday.
The Troup County Government Center and all convenience centers will not be open on July 4 and normal business hours will resume on Friday, July 5
Garbage and recycling will not be running on the holiday, pickups will resume the following day.
The City of LaGrange and City of Hogansville will be closed as well on the fourth. LaGrange offices will reopen on the fifth and Hogansville will reopen Monday, July 8.
All public safety departments, including fire and police will remain open during the holiday.
