William “Billy” Eugene Williams, 86, of LaGrange, GA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Mr. Williams was born December 30, 1932 in LaGrange, GA to the late William Gordon Williams and Ethel Lee Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Kaden Williams.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 63 years, Annie Ruth (Geiger) Williams; daughter, Debra Butler; son, Tim (Elissa) Williams; grandchildren, Ashley (Scott) DeLong, Brittany (Justin) Steele, Kyle Williams and Fiance Courtney Hinesley,  Kaylor (Kelly) Williams, Kenton Williams; great-grandchildren, Cole DeLong, Adalynn Mae Williams and Emmie Kate Steele.

Mr. Williams proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of Rosemont Baptist Baptist Church. He was retired from Milliken and Company with 45 years of service.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Max McCord and Rev. Adam Camp officiating. Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends was held Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
