Rosie Jean Thornton passed away Thursday. She was born October 24, 1946 to BG and Ola Grace Strickland. Rosie was employed by Twins Cedar Youth Services for over twenty-five years.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Strickland; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, bonus family, nieces and nephews.

The service will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 210 Cedar Street.

The excellent care of Ms. Thornton is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
