She was born September 19, 1982 in Syracuse, New York to the late Joanna Hill and Gregory W. Johnson Sr. Tachell received her Master’s Degree in 2018; and was employed by the LaGrange Housing Authority/West Georgia Star as the Program Manager.  In addition she was the Visionary Enterprenuer behind #BraidsByChelly.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Harrison, Jr.; daughter, Javiyana Burden; sons, Semaj Harrison and Kalajh Harrison; father and mother-in-law, James and Rudine Harrison; and the entire Philpot and Harrison family; a very special god-daughter; sisters,  Jansay Sparks, Lachima Smith, Cheryl Johnson, Shari Johnson, Gemisha Johnson, Lanesha Johnson, Shatiffa Johnson; brothers, Gregory D. Johnson Jr., Kevin Hobbs, Latiece Spivey, and Gregory W. Johnson, Jr.; special aunts and uncle, Trymeter “Menut” Carter, Sharon and James Brown; and a host of additional aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and very special loving friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Rosemont Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 13 Pine Grove Drive.
