Mr. Lloyd Burton Hacker

Lloyd Burton Hacker, 83, died July 15, 2019 at The Gardens of Social Circle. Mr. Hacker was a native of Kentucky. He was born July 7, 1936 to David and Clara Baisley Hacker. He was married to the late Janice Jones Hacker. The Hackers spent most of their married lives in LaGrange, GA. Mr. Hacker was self-employed as an insurance claims adjuster. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Mr. Hacker was a member of LaGrange First Baptist Church on the Square.

Mr. Hacker is survived by a son, Burton Hacker and his wife Stephanie. He also leaves a daughter in law Kristi Hacker; a brother, David Hacker and his wife, Mildred; a sister-in-law, Muriel Johnson; his grandchildren, Rebecca Hayes and Jake, Katie Hacker, Sam Hacker, Amy Johnson and Adam Johnson. Mr. Hacker was preceded in death by his wife, Janice and a son, Ricky Hacker.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Wayne Ghann officiating. The committal service will follow at the Shadowlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home.
