Diane Foster Sheets passed away on July 13, 2019, after an extended illness. Diane was the daughter of Reginald and Estelle Foster. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings as well as her husband of 52 years, Gary Sheets. She is survived by two sisters, Lynda Foster Walker, and Betty Jo Foster Lane; her son, Christopher Sheets (Tracey), and her daughter, Vikki Sheets Stringham (Kevin); as well as two granddaughters, Kate and Emily Stringham; and many nieces and nephews.

Diane was a member of First Baptist Church on the Square and retired from Commercial Bank and Trust. Her generosity led her to donate her body to science. There will be an informal gathering of family and friends to honor Diane on Saturday, Aug. 10 from noon to 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Fountain Church, LaGrange on the corner of Mallory Drive and Lafayette Parkway.
