Ms. Mary Ann Delaney

Mary Ann Delaney passed away Wednesday.

She was born April 7, 1964, in LaGrange, Georgia to the late J. D. and Mary Lena Delaney.

She united with Rocky Mount Baptist Church, graduated from LaGrange High School, Class of 1982; managed KFC for over 20 years, and was currently employed by Seoyon-E-Hwa.

Survivors include six sisters, Minnie Thurman, Flossie Cato, Martha Sue (Charlie) Tucker, Jessie (Charlie) Dixon, Ann (Walter) Ransom and Dorothy Ross; three brothers, Jesse (Martha) Delaney, Dan (Jennifer) Delaney and Fred (Helen) Delaney, all of LaGrange, Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Laura Jean Parkmond Delaney and Emma Delaney; a special aunt, Clara O’Neal of Buffalo, New York; 19 nieces, 15 nephews, whom she loved dearly; as well as an abundant amount of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins from Buffalo, New York, and Columbus, Ohio; and a very special friend that she grew up with in Thomastown, Jerome Thornton.

The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 903 Ridley Avenue.

The excellent care of Ms. Delaney is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
