Three local students will be featured on the cover of The LaGrange Daily News’ Pigskin Preview magazine, the LDN’s annual high school football magazine.

Mark-Anthony Dixon (Troup High School), Dylan Almon (Callaway High School) and Caroline Childress (LaGrange High School) won the contest, which ended Friday on The LaGrange Daily News Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. The trio finished with 715 votes on Facebook, 1,119 votes on Instagram and 41 votes on Twitter.

The cover option featuring Jacob Freeman (CHS), Kelsie Ledford (THS) and Laegan Smith (LHS) finished second with 411 votes on Facebook, 580 on Instagram and 47 votes on Twitter. Third with 192 votes on Facebook, 189 votes on Instagram and six votes on Twitter was Nathan Fain (Lafayette Christian Academy), Josh Dodgen (Unity Prep) and Morgan Jones (CHS). In fourth was the cover featuring Jonathan Sutton (LHS), Claire Ann Corban (Lafayette Christian Academy) and Suzuna Kimura (THS) with 125 votes on Facebook, 152 on Instagram and 17 votes on Twitter.

The contest started Friday, Aug. 5 on the LDN Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages and ended Friday, Aug. 9.

The contest had a total of 3,594 votes. The magazine publishes Thursday, Aug. 22.
