The City of LaGrange began the paving  portion of the road project on Country Club Road on Tuesday, according to a city press release.

Crews are reportedly ahead of schedule on the Country Club Road project and began milling and paving Country Club Road Tuesday. 

Work is expected to continue through the week and completed by Aug. 26, weather permitting, according to the city.

Motorists should expect delays and, when possible, use an alternate route.

Paving should not impact morning drop-off at Hollis Hand Elementary School but will impact afternoon pick-up. Parents are encouraged to turn left out of the campus to avoid areas being paved between the school and the Broad Street roundabout.  

Hills and Dales Farm Road is now open and will provide an alternative option.
