The LaGrange Academy softball team made it two wins in a row with a 9-4 victory over visiting Heritage on Wednesday.

Since opening with a loss at Terrell Academy last week, LaGrange Academy has beaten Griffin Christian and Heritage this week.

In Wednesday’s game, LaGrange Academy did a lot of the damage with five runs in the fourth inning, and it added two runs in the fifth inning and a single run in the third.

Megan Allen, Laney Lackey and Megan Allen each had two hits for LaGrange Academy, and Caley Worsely, Natalee waddell, Kayla McBride and Madison Petite each had a hit.

Lackey started and pitched into the sixth inning, and Corley finished things off on the mound.
