Mr. John Will Pearce

John Will Pearce, 70 of Fredonia, Al passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 to join his wife, Sandra who was waiting with open arms.  Born February 21, 1949 in Chambers County, AL to the late Francis Hubert Pearce and Velma Lashley Schriber. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, he also worked as an Ironworker for Strand Steel for many years. John Will loved going to flea markets looking for the best deals, spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchild.

John Will is survived by children, Shane (Jennifer) Pearce and Mylynda (Michael) Smith; grandchildren, Mercedes Smith, Mykayla (Allen) Smith, Lauryn Pearce and Brayden Pearce; great-granddaughter, Harley (Buttabean) Smith; brother, Frank (Fay) Pearce; sister, Mary (Jack) Prue and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of John Will’s life will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 12 p.m. EST at Fredonia United Methodist Church 6240 County Road 222 Five Points, AL 36855 with Rev. John Kiker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with honors provided by the U. S. Army. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. EST to service time at the church.
