Mr. Sylvester McGee passed away Sunday. He was born Dec. 15, 1948, in Chipley, Georgia, to the late Fairchild “Bud” McGee and Josephine Harris McGee. He united with Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Johnson McGee; two daughters, Michalea L. McGee, and Lasonnda Holmes; six grandchildren; sisters, Julia Ellison of Durand, Georgia; Queen Ester McGee Williams, Dr. Shirley McGee Fannings of Atlanta, Georgia; and Jennie McGee (Curtis, Sr.) Milliner of Columbus, Georgia; brothers, Curtis McGee of College Park, Georgia; Willie C. (Lenora) McGee of Decatur, Georgia; and Leon (Glendale) McGee of East Point, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. 

The service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
