Brenda Faye Thompson, age 71 of 151 Turner Street died Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.  Mrs. Thompson, a native of Lagrange, Georgia was the daughter of the late William and Pauline Nelson.  She attended Ethel Kight Elementary and East Depot High School.  She was  a member of Union Chapel U.M. Church and she held employment at Hillside Milliken Company for over 27 years. Brenda was a loving Mother, a dedicated Grandmother and a true friend to everyone with a “Heart of Gold.  Survivors include five children, Willie Thompson, Andrea Thompson-Carter, Latasha Thompson, Demetrius Thompson and Antonio Thompson: a special nephew, Zabian Nelson: five Grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Jacqueline Heard, William Nelson, David Nelson, Dwight Nelson and Debra Nelson.  Funeral services for Brenda Faye Thompson will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Union Chapel U.M. Church at 1098 Hammett Road, .Lagrange. Rev.
