LaGrange police officers responded to the 100 block of Dix Street Wednesday night in reference to an armed robbery on Snelson Street.

According to a press release from LPD, the victim reported that he was walking on Snelson Street around 10 p.m. when he was approached by a black male in a grey or silver sedan. The victim said that the male showed two pistols and demanded he give up his backpack. 

The male reportedly took the victims backpack and drove away from the scene. 

The criminal investigations unit section arrived on scene and began an investigation into the incident.
