Charlie Mae Sims passed away Tuesday. She was born August 9, 1929 to the late Samuel and LuGennie Winchester in Standing Rock, Alabama. She attended Heard County School System, united with Shiloh Baptist Church, and was employed by Single Knitting Mill until she retired.

Survivors include three sons Jake V. Sims, Donell Sims of LaGrange, GA; Gerald (Kathy) Bankston of Hogansville, GA;  six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 380 Payne Road.
