Mr. Willie Charles Davis

Mr. Willie Charles Davis passed away Wednesday. He was born March 14, 1934 in Kynesville, Florida to the late Robert Davis and Sarah Williams Davis. He confessed his faith in God at an early age. Mr. Davis was a retired Corporal with six honors and two stars. Who was also employed as a Driver and owner of Davis Cab Company.
Survivors inlcude his wife, Maria Sheppard Davis; nine daughters: Cora Davis, Arlester (Troy) Braswell, Patricia (Smith) Edwards, Ann (Alton) Griggs, Quentatta (Brandon) Fletcher, Monica (Maurice) Lampley, SheReece (Shawn) Payton, Ashley Daniels, and Melissa Hayes; twelve sons Jimmy Davis, Willie Charles Davis, Willie Eugene (Cokethia) Davis, Charles Davis, Tyrone Davis, Stacey (Shaundrill) Richardson, Steve Richardson, Eric Burks, John Anthony Davis, Bishop Tifton (Daphne) Dobbs, Lonnie McQuirter, and Kenny McQuirter; one sister Artesta Riley; sisters-in-law: Martha Sheppard, Katherine (Richard) Hill, Valeria Huguley, Joyce Felton, Latrease Huguley, Debra Felton, Charlie Bell (James) McFarland, and Ocie Huguley, brothers-in-law Leroy (Dorthy) Sheppard, John Sheppard, George (Vivian) Sheppard, Stanley Lovelace, Johnny (Annette) Neloms, Larry Lovelace, Horace Lovelace, Todd Lovelace, and Roosevelt (Irene) Sheppard; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
The Service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
The excellent care of Mrs. Davis is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
