Burnice Kathleen Williams Godfrey, age 92, of LaGrange passed away on Monday, October 21st, 2019 at Twin Fountains Home. She was born in Fayetteville, Georgia on January 17, 1927 to the late Emory Williams and Myrtice Paggette Williams. She was employed with Milliken & Company as a Weaver, and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Reuben O. Godfrey; daughter, Freita Davis Browning; sister, Joann Bartlett; grandchildren, Paul Underwood (Kristi), Katrina Underwood Nixon (Charles), Tammy George, Melissa George James, Amber Perry, Randy Davis, Charity Pike (Trinity); 10 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; extended family and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Hope Davis George; son, Carl Alton Davis; first husband, Carl Raymond Franklin Davis; sister, Freda Olgia Cash

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Higgins LaGrange Chapel beginning at 12:00 PM.
