LaGrange Police officers responded to the 800 block of Leeman Street Tuesday night in reference to a woman who had been shot. 

When officers arrived to the scene, they met with the 24-year-old victim who had been struck in the lower leg by a bullet. 

According to the LPD, the victim was transported to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center where she was treated and released. 

At the time of LPD’s press release, the suspect is undisclosed and the case remains under investigation.
