Thomas J. “Jack” Watts, Sr., 80, of LaGrange, GA passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Watts was born May 17, 1939 in Albertville, AL, son of the late Union Watts and Annie Mae Martin.  He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was the owner of Flooring Contracting Services.  Mr. Watts proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Higgins.

Survivors include his wife, Fran Watts; children, Renita (Stan) Eversole, Thomas Watts, Jr., Robin (Randy) Banks, Lana Heard, and Billy Watts; grandchildren, Rick Heard, Wesley (Ayla) Banks, Paige Heard, Mary Frances (Denver) Wylie, Stanton Eversole, Justin Banks, Laura Frances Banks, and Makaylah Watts; great grandchildren, Ava Harmon, Jaxon Heard, Waylon Heard, and Weston Morris; sister, Brenda (Greg) Cook; and special family friends Noah Berryhill, Jessica Cook, Tim Adams, Brandon Puccio, and Heather Walker.

Celebration of Life services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Benefield and Rev. Chris Rumfelt officiating.  The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church. The burial, with military honors, will be at 11 a.m. (EST) Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church, LaGrange, GA or Freewill Baptist Church, Hayesville, NC in memory of Mr. Thomas J. “Jack” Watts, Sr.
