With the threat of rain and freezing temperatures, the Textile Bowl has been postponed a few days.

The Textile Bowl, which features the Troup County Parks and Recreation Commission championship football games, was originally going to be played on Tuesday.

Instead, the two games will be played on Thursday at Callaway Stadium.

First up will be the 9-10-year-old championship game at 6 p.m., with the 11-12-year-old title game to follow.

In the 9-10-year-old title game, West Point Batson Cook will take on Coca-Cola.

In the 11-12-year-old championship game, MC’s Heating & Air Cowboys will play the Hogansville Jets.

All four teams have had to make their way through the playoffs to reach the championship game.
