LaGrange looks to stay unbeaten

Eight teams, including the host LaGrange Grangers, will participate in the LaGrange Toyota Classic.
The event will be held at LaGrange High on Friday and Monday, and each team will play two games.
The participating teams are Newnan, WD Mohammed, McIntosh, Drew Charter, Spalding County, Flint River, LaGrange and Heard County.
If LaGrange wins both of its games, it will carry a 13-0 record into the start of Region 5-AAAA play in January.
LaGrange remained unbeaten with a pair of wins in the War Eagle Classic at Woodward Academy last weekend.
LaGrange begins its region schedule on Jan. 3 against Central-Carroll.
First up for LaGrange (11-0) will be a game against Heard County on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and it will play WD Mohammed on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
WD Mohammed comes into the LaGrange Toyota Classic with a 10-1 record, while Heard County has struggled to a 1-11 record.

FRIDAY
3 p.m. – Newnan vs. WD Mohammed
4:30 p.m. – McIntosh vs. Drew Charter
6 p.m. – Spalding County vs. Flint River
7:30 p.m. – LaGrange vs. Heard County
MONDAY
3 p.m. – Drew Charter vs. Newnan
4:30 p.m. – Heard County vs. Flint River
6 p.m. – Spalding vs. McIntosh
7:30 p.m. – LaGrange vs. WD Mohammed
