Mrs. Marjorie White Whitney, age 71, of LaGrange, passed away on December 10, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Whitney was born on November 25, 1948 in Biddeford, Maine to the late Thomas White and Marjorie Sherwell White. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and worked for many years at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church as a Kindergarten Teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Lucas Venning Whitney; children, Lucas Whitney, Jr. (Lorri); Sarah Wojnarowski (Jeremiah) and Anna Noland (Izz); brother, Tom White (Bonnie); sister, Sally Fischer (Marty); six grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on January 4, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Entombment will follow the service in the Church Columbarium. The family will greet friends at a reception after the entombment.  Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home, 706-884-7117.
